NexaXT and its subsidiaries and affiliates (together "NexaXT", "we" or "our") understand that your privacy is important to you. We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information, which is any information that identifies you as an individual. This Privacy Policy describes how we process and protect your personal information through NexaXT's business activities, such as conferences and events, customer services, websites, applications and communications that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Sites"). in our capacity as data owner. Information collected.

 

NexaXT collects personal information as part of its business activities, including in connection with certain customer services. We also collect personal information on certain areas of the Sites when you register or apply for a job through the NexaXT Recruiting Portal, create a user profile, subscribe to NexaXT newsletters and notifications, participate in our alliance activities through the Alliance Center website, register for conferences and events and participation in public user areas (such as message boards, discussion forums and polls). The personal information collected may vary and may include information provided by you such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, fax number and information about you necessary to apply for a job.

We also automatically collect information about the devices you use to interact with our Sites. The information we automatically collect may include IP address, device ID, web browser and browsing information collected through the use of cookies, web beacons, pixels, clear graphics and other similar technologies (collectively, "Cookies and Other tracking technologies") on our Sites. We also automatically collect information about how you use the Sites, such as what you searched for and viewed on the Sites. Automatically collected information may be associated with a unique identifier as well as any other personal information you provide.

NexaXT may also collect personal information about you from third parties, such as these brokers or aggregators, as part of its business activities, including in connection with certain customer services. This may include demographic, professional and other information publicly available online, including information you choose to make publicly available through social media platforms and other publicly accessible online forums. We may combine this data with information we already have about you or use it independently as part of our analytics and benchmarking activities (for example, analyzing industry recruitment practices, identifying financial fraud patterns, retail customer flow environment). We will always seek confirmation from the third party about the transparency of the information provided about its use of this data, including its disclosure to third parties, such as NexaXT, in accordance with applicable law.

Use of information.

 

NexaXT uses your personal information to fulfill your requests for information, process requests for participation in conferences and events, personalize the content you view or receive on the Sites, evaluate and improve our services, send newsletters and notifications, recruit staff and evaluate candidates to work, analyze the performance and operation of the Sites, publish your letters to the editor or comments, prevent fraud, enforce our terms of use, comply with all applicable laws and corporate reporting obligations, enforce NexaXT agreements, and carry out other purposes that you may initiate or request . In some situations, the collection of personal information may be necessary to operate the Sites, or we may use it as part of our business activities, including in connection with certain customer services, for example, to provide certain services or products, such as our benchmarking products. We may combine and/or analyze personal information to evaluate and offer you more relevant content and services. We may store any of your personal data and use it to contact you. NexaXT and its service providers may use cookies and other third-party tracking technologies, including web beacons, to operate our Sites and our services and collect analytics about how you use them. NexaXT and its service providers may collect information about whether you open or click on links in knowledge, research or event communications that we send you. The information provided in this Privacy Policy about cookies also applies to these other tracking technologies. Our Sites do not track your online activities or collect personal information over time and across third-party websites or online services. Consequently, we do not change our data collection and use practices in response to "do not track" signals sent by web browsers.

Use of information collected through mobile devices

 

In connection with our mobile applications, NexaXT may use third-party service providers to analyze user activity, correct errors, monitor usage, and improve the performance of the mobile applications. For example, NexaXT receives reports on aggregate usage and browsing patterns of some of our mobile applications, including information about the type of device used, articles viewed, and other events occurring within our applications. NexaXT also receives reports of errors occurring within mobile applications. 

 

Legal basis for processing your personal data

 

Our processing of your personal data for the above purposes is based on:

  • Based in part on our legitimate interests in promoting and protecting NexaXT, building and maintaining relationships, recruiting staff and providing our services.

  • Based in part on your consent, such as if you create a user profile or subscribe to our newsletters or notifications, or for business purposes supporting web operations, such as understanding and improving the quality of your experience on our websites.

  • In part to comply with the law, where certain information is necessary to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations.

Disclosure of personal data: data recipients and international transfers

 

Personal information collected in the course of NexaXT's business activities, including in connection with certain customer services and on the Sites, may from time to time be transferred to NexaXT's subsidiaries and affiliates and their employees within our global organization, as well as to our third party service providers located at worldwide, including countries where local law may give you fewer rights than in your own country. In addition, the Sites may be viewed and hosted by NexaXT and our third party service providers anywhere in the world. As required by law, we have adopted legal mechanisms that provide adequate protection for personal data processed by NexaXT subsidiaries, affiliates and third party service providers, including the transfer of your personal data to countries other than your country of residence. NexaXT may provide access to your personal information to third party service providers engaged by NexaXT to provide services related to the Sites and related to NexaXT's business activities, including certain customer services, subject to the terms of our customer services agreements. We maintain processes designed to ensure consistency in the processing of personal data by third party service providers in accordance with this Privacy Policy and to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of your personal data. We may also share your personal information with third party service providers who perform services and functions on our behalf to support our interactions with you, including, for example, processing recruitment materials, conducting surveys or competitions, or communicating with you. In addition, we may disclose information about you:

  • When we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity;

  • To prevent fraud against NexaXT, our subsidiaries, affiliates and/or business partners;

In addition, we may disclose or transfer your personal information in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, transfer, divestiture or other transfer of all or any portion of our business.

User forums

 

You should be aware that any time you publicly disclose information online, that information may be collected and used by others. NexaXT is not responsible for the actions or policies of third parties that collect information that users publicly disclose in such forums on the Sites.

Links to third party sites

 

NexaXT may provide links to third party websites or information as a service to our users. If you use these links, you will leave the Sites. Such links do not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by NexaXT  third party, third party website or information contained therein, and NexaXT is not responsible for your use thereof. Such use will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policies applicable to those sites.

Social media

 

The Sites may allow you to log in and link your social media accounts, including, but not limited to, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, to NexaXT. Sites may also allow you to log into your NexaXT account using your specific social media account credentials.

By linking your social media account to NexaXT or logging into your NexaXT account using your social media account credentials, you give us permission to access the information you have posted to your public profile of that social media account. The information available in your public profile may vary depending on the social network and your settings, but may include your email address, real name, profile photo, gender and location. We use information received from your social network account in accordance with the terms of use of the social network and this Privacy Policy. Please refer to the privacy settings in your social media account for information about what data is shared with NexaXT and other related applications and to control the data that is shared through your account, including information about your activity on our Sites.

Safety

 

NexaXT has implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Access to personal information is limited to authorized NexaXT personnel and third party service providers, and these employees and service providers are required to treat this information confidentially. However, despite all precautions, NexaXT cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will not gain access to your personal data.

Data Retention NexaXT retains personal data for as long as necessary for the relevant business relationship. We may also retain personal information longer than the duration of the business relationship if we need to retain it for defense against legal claims, for use in analysis or historical recording, or in accordance with our information management policies and schedules. If you request deletion of your personal information, NexaXT will make reasonable efforts to delete all information in its entirety. Children

 

The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 16, and NexaXT does not knowingly collect or store personal information from anyone under this age.

Your rights

 

Where required by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we have collected about you in order to review, change or request deletion of that information. You may also have the right to request a copy of the personal data we have collected about you and to correct any inaccuracies in that data. In certain cases, you can also request that we stop processing your personal data. Various laws may prevent us from providing access to your personal information or otherwise fully complying with your request depending on the circumstances and request, for example, if providing your information would reveal the identity of another person. We reserve the right to charge appropriate fees for fulfilling your requests in accordance with applicable law, and/or to deny your requests if they may be manifestly unfounded, excessive, or otherwise unacceptable or unreasonable under applicable law. In addition, and if applicable local law provides, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. Agreement; changes to the Privacy Policy

 

By using the Sites, you consent to the collection, use and storage of your personal information by us as described in this Privacy Policy and elsewhere on the Sites. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of such changes by updating this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy that increase our rights to use personal information we have previously collected about you, we will obtain your consent by sending an email to your registered email address or by prominently posting information about the changes on our Sites.
